Feb. 2 MnLC Advisory Meeting

The February Meeting will feature two presentations:  1) MERLOT by Phil Moss and 2) 3Ring by Joel Donna.  Also at the meeting will be updates by Minnesota Department of Education, Online Learning Advisory Committee, legislative updates and other news from partners.  The meeting will be from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Capitol View Center or streamed online.

The January 5th meeting of the Minnesota Learning Commons will again be devoted to workgroups to meet (in person or by Webex) for even a half an hour to keep projects moving forward:

Dec. 1 Advisory Council Meeting

The December meeting of the Advisory Council will be Thurs. Dec. 1 from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Board Room of Capitol View Center (Northeast Metro Intermediate District 916, County Road B2 and Rice St.  The meeting can also be accessed via Webex.  The agenda will include updates from the Minnesota Literacy Council and a demonstration of Yugma, a virtual conferencing tool.

Nov. 3, 2011 Workgroup meetings rather than Advisory Council

We are meeting on Thursday, Nov. 3rd at our regular time to break into Workgroups and have those meetings that are so hard to schedule.  This will include:  1) NROC: a) promotion, b) technical, c) Content & Training;  2) Digital Literacy;  3) MERLOT;  4) Quality Matters;  and 5) State Procurements.  eSummit Planning and Web Accessibility are already scheduled for other dates.

Our next regularly schedule Advisory Council meeting will be Thursday, Dec. 1.

Oct. 6 Advisory Council Meeting

The next MnLC Advisory Council Meeting is Thurs. Oct. 6 from 1:00-3:00pm in the Board Room (and via Webex) of Capitol View Center.  Agenda items will include recent Office of Legislative Audit report on K-12 Online Learning, continuing discussion on downloading NROC content, and Open Source Textbook Initiative at Anoka Hennepin Schools.
